Cougars Fall at Home to Grace Brethren 71-68

Berman HA fell to 1-8, losing at home to PVAC rival Grace Brethren 71-68.

 

Josh Stern led our balanced scoring with 14 points and 12 rebounds, as we had 5 players in double figures.

After being tied 35-35 at the half, we fell behind by 10 after the 3rd quarter (62-52). Our defense tightened up in the fourth, only allowing 9 points in the quarter. Jonah Pinchot hit a 3 pointer with :14 seconds to go to cut the deficit to 3, and after GB missed the front end of a 1 and 1, Pinchot got a good look at the basket, but his game tying 3 pointer eventually bounced out.
