Playoff Scenarios - Wednesday, Feb 12

If Sandy Spring loses at JDS tonight, and we are snowed out tomorrow, we will be tied with 5 wins.

Here are the tie-breaker procedures:

If two or more teams are tied for any slot, the relative positions will be determined by head-to-head records among all tied teams. The tie-breakers are as follows: Record against teams seeded ahead of you, coin toss. If teams are still tied for the last tournament seed, then there will be a play in game between those teams, instead of a coin toss.

 

Since we split with SS this season, and we both would have 1 win against teams ahead of us in the standings, we would have to play a play-in game to determine the 8th spot.

If SS beats JDS tonight, and our game is snowed out, we will be out of the playoffs.

So - we have to root for JDS tonight, or for the snow to miss us completely tonight!
